Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5th, 1964 in New York New York U.S.A. She is an American actress known for portraying tough, yet vulnerable characters. Linney was born into an theatre-loving family, with her father Romulus Linney writing plays. She graduated in 1986 at Brown University. She then studied Theatre Arts at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before finishing her studies at Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City, 1990. In 1990, she began appearing on Broadway in the very first week, and soon received the acclaim she received for her performances in Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) as well as Hedda Galer.
